Ludor Engineering is a partner in the project Be A COmpetence Now. Beacons for Incidental Learning (BEACON), funded by the European Union’s ERASMUS+ programme, KA220-VET - Cooperation partnerships in vocational education and training, no. 2021-1-RO01-KA220-VET- 000034746.
The total duration of the project is 24 months, starting on 01/01/2022 and finishing on 31/12/2024, and the total funding from EU is 265 197 euro.
The project aims at supporting VET systems in the development (design, testing & release of transferable OERs) of innovative Incidental Learning programs thanks to Beacon BLE technology.
The project has the following objectives:
- promoting WBL in VET
- developing crucial skills in EQF3-EQF4 secondary VET learners
- enabling the VET sector to align itself to the Green Driver of Innovation
The target group is formed of VET learners, teachers trainers and schools.
The following results will be created and implemented by the end of the project:
- Beacon BLE Digital System for Incidental Learning, customized for sector-relevant work-based learning environment
- OER Work-based-learning Training Program based on Beacon Digital Platform & Incidental Learning related to the FOOD industrial sector
- OER Work-based-learning Training Program based on Beacon Digital Platform & Incidental Learning related to the ICT industrial sector
- OER Work-based-learning Training Program based on Beacon Digital Platform & Incidental Learning related to the MECHANICAL industrial sector
- OER Work-based-learning Training Program based on Beacon Digital Platform & Incidental Learning related to the TEXTILE industrial sector
